#7 Every Labrador has either two genes for a black coat (BB) or two genes for a brown coat (bb) or one of each (Bb).
#8 Black is the dominant color in Labradors. This means that if the Labrador carries both a brown and a black gene, the gene will be black dominant and the Labrador will end up black.
#9 This is because the black gene suppresses the brown one. The brown gene is recessive, hidden, while the black gene is coat determinant.
