Malamutes are not for one-person dogs. They are family and are very attached to absolutely all family members. Of course, they have their own “leader”, but they obey everyone. I note that these are dogs that have their own personal opinion and will not obey unquestioningly without proper upbringing. Malamutes are great nannies who love children and children love them.
