#10 For the most part, long-haired Chihuahuas are a bit calmer and more outgoing, while this breed’s short-haired type can be more alert and dominant. Of course, there are also lively Chihuahuas with long fur and rather shy short furs.

#12 Checking and cleaning the teeth. If milk teeth remain, they must be extracted by the vet. Tartar can require time-consuming removal under anesthetic. Regular brushing with a special dog brush and offering suitable chews is better here.
