#4 The Pug’s short, soft coat requires minimal maintenance, but it can also become greasy and shed a few hairs. Regular washing and brushing keeps your dog clean and removes loose hair, this is especially important in the spring and fall.

The dogs are generally easy to train and can (very successfully) participate in various dog sports. They love treats, which works well as motivation. A pug wants to be with his family and becomes unhappy when he is alone. Early socialization and puppy training classes are ideal for this breed.
