  1. These pictures and descriptions are very accurate. One thing about Whippets is they love (or want) to spend their time with their family. I always have 2 dogs, but in my retirement I take both wherever I can. They do get lonely. They crave to be loved. If you want to see a sad dog, holler at a Whippet. That is very mean because these dogs are intelligent, large vocabulary, and very very sensitive. Having them for almost 30 years. I love this breed. You have to know how to treat them as they are different, which I love. I love this dog.
