#4 Toller is a true Canadian dog. At no stage of its formation did it undergo the stage of breeders from other countries.
#5 The idea was to create a dog that looks like a red fox – small, playful, intelligent, with a pronounced hunting instinct and with preserved retriever abilities of large breeds of retrievers.
#6 The breed was originally called the Little River Duck Dog.
