18 Breed Reviews: Labrador Retriever

#4 The Labrador is a friendly, calm and intelligent breed that will become a real full-fledged member of your family.

The dog is easy to train, at our age we already know a lot of teams, absolutely not aggressive, very happy when guests come to us, run around a new person, pokes his nose at him as if he wants to say how glad he is ... I can't even remember any minuses, because even if they are, the pluses of this breed cover all the flaws ...

#5 Labrador – a dog with “human” eyes

I am the owner of a Labrador for 10 years. Smarter, smarter than my chocolate boy I have never had. They took him as a kid, they wanted exactly chocolate because black seemed gloomy. A wonderful puppy, very calm and curious. There was a one-year-old cat at home, and he was suspicious of the puppy. Later he took, came to sleep on the mat on the soba. He got used to the toilet quickly, very smart. Children squeezed him with pleasure, never snapped. He did not touch shoes and other things. The only thing that was a hooligan was taking children's toys out of the box. He loved to run around with them in the apartment and chew them. Never barks at home, silent. Greets everyone with joy. Will not bite, kiss. But! When he became an adult, for some reason he began to guard the summer cottage, barking at a knock and a voice. But this paradox occurs only in the country. Loves to swim. Will not pass by the puddle. If we go for a walk in the park, he begins to drag, as he smells ponds. This is the minus. The dog is heavy and difficult to hold. Although he is very good at training, he is very smart. The husband took a course with him. He loves to wear something in his teeth. There is a lot of wool in the apartment. Allergy prone. Picked up food. Very unobtrusive feel great mood. He is not active at home, mostly lying around lazily. Loves to beg from the table. He often looks like an intelligent, understanding person. It's such a shame that a dog's life is short.

#6 A friend for you, and a nanny for your child!

If you decide to get a dog and cannot decide on the breed, I can safely say to you - there is no better breed than a Labrador!

Probably now you have a full thought: "No, I heard that Labradors are hyperactive creatures that do not lend themselves to any training, destroy everything in their path, love everyone and swim in the first puddle they come across," so I want to immediately dispel all this myth!

Indeed, Labradors are very active dogs, they require a lot of attention, but there is nothing wrong with that, believe me, resting in nature, near a lake, or in similar places is a lot of positive for you. They are big fans of splashing in the water, bringing you a stick, playing football with you. They will never touch other people, let alone children.
