The Jack Russell is a super energetic and spirited breed that loves to chase other animals, especially the local mice and cats! Jack Russell was created in England in the 1800s to join his fox-hunting master, and so he is serious about prey and will chase small animals until the sun goes down. All Jack Russell mixes will inherit a higher prey instinct than most other breed mixes and therefore you must be careful to welcome one in a multi-pet family.
