We bought our friend a year and a half ago, since then we have made friends with them, we will probably always be friends. We took this little lump with impatience and joy. We were explained about the peculiarities of care and maintenance, advised to feed baby food and canned food. But there was a terrible poisoning! Our little dog lay motionless, eating nothing and whining, the stool was liquid. Not one doctor could tell what to do about it. The fact that the advice or veterinarians did not help! On some Internet forums, they read that they need glucose in case of poisoning. But there is nowhere to take a lot of it, we remembered that glucose is contained in sugar. So they gave our dear Teddy some strong tea with sugar and the pup came to life right before our eyes. All symptoms of poisoning were gone, he was cheerful and playful again. Our little boy grew up and over time, problems were added. Firstly, it took him a very long time to get used to going to the toilet on the street, because we live in an apartment, this is quite problematic. He re-tested all the shoes, soft toys, and everything that lay badly. I gobbled up everything that is possible, I broke everything that I got and ate. But all this is material! And how he looks when you leave him for at least an hour, how he rejoices when you come to him. Love burns in your eyes! Children are delighted with him - sociable loves to play and swim. You are happy to be with you on the river and will swim beside you, you are looking for mushrooms, he will help to look for them (trample to dig) kind to everyone, it is not scary to let the child go with him, knowing that he will not rush. But at the same time, when a real danger begins to threaten you, he is ready to help. I walked alone with him in the evening, half-drunk men came up (as is often the case with the question of what kind of dog, etc.), he barked at them (I did not hear such barking from him) and did not even close one of them to me. Although they tried! The dog understood that it was against my will and did not give me offense! Found a true friend and family member!

Firstly, it is an excellent size suitable for apartment and urban living. There are also color options available, which is sometimes an important factor when choosing a breed.

Secondly, a very kind dog, with a soft and docile character, suitable for living in a family with newborn children, as well as with older children.
Thirdly, caring for her is not difficult, as well as a waste of effort, time, and money. The coat is not long, of medium hardness, it sheds just like everyone else, twice a year.
Find a common language with a Labrador, unless an inhabitant from another planet. After all, this breed of dogs was bred and adapted for that. to be a family dog, a devoted friend for you and your children. At the same time, play the role of a guard and protector in a necessary and dangerous situation.

Its only drawback is, perhaps, that the breed is very picky in food, but you can come to terms with this if you look at all the advantages of this breed.
Of course, it is worth preparing thoroughly for choosing a puppy, namely, to save up the required amount of money and in no case save on buying, since very often there are scammers who are trying to pass off a hybrid for a Labrador, or even worse, just a yard-terrier dog.

But you need to know some of the features of this breed. They are always hungry, no matter how much you give them, they will eat everything. The hungry expression on her face, as if she had never been fed. We walk in a muzzle, as we collect all the trash.
This is not a guard dog. He runs to strangers and rejoices. A very playful and friendly breed.
Easy to learn commands. But up to a year, the puppy ruined a lot of shoes and things, this must be taken into account and cleaned in advance.
