They can not be found unless only in desert areas, forests, mountainous areas, the most northern regions, and Antarctica.
#11 Birds overwinter in the south, but some species remain in the nesting areas in the cold season if they are located near an ice-free reservoir.
#12 Most of them choose fresh lakes, swamps and rivers as their habitat, but in winter they may prefer wetlands with salt water.
They don't like to create large settlements.
