The Brazilian Terrier, better known as the Fox Paulistinha, is a dog breed that originated in Brazil. This is probably one of several terrier breeds that have been obtained by crossing the Fox Terrier with other, smaller breeds.
These terriers grow to 14-16 inches at the withers (35.5-40.5 cm). Their coat is always tricolor (white, yellowish-brown with black). A docked tail, a narrow chest, a flat triangular skull, and a well-balanced body are the most common characteristics.
The temperament of this breed is similar to that of the Jack Russell Terrier, very alert, exuberantly cheerful, and intelligent. Very friendly loves to play and dig holes. Energetic, obedient, but at the same time fearless. As a guard dog, he will bark loudly to get your attention, then leave it all to you. This breed requires a strong, consistent and confident pack leader, otherwise, the dog becomes independent and stubborn. Their hunting instinct is the strongest of all terriers, so don’t leave them alone with other small animals.
