Breed Review: Airedale Terrier (17 Pics)

#4 The Airedale is a capable, hardworking, but often absolutely not disciplined student, who cannot be broken by either delicacies or threats.

The problem is that the puppy gets bored during class. And if it's boring, then there is no point in prolonging the "torture". It is much easier to pretend not to understand, finally putting the squeeze on the owner with your own stubbornness and getting the longed-for freedom. That is why dog handlers recommend starting to educate and train Airedale terriers as early as possible, while they are not yet so cunning and resourceful. If you instill in your baby a love of learning, growing up, he will go out of his way to perform any exercise for the "five".

#5 Remember that growing up Airedale terriers are not used to giving up their own positions, so if the dog did not react to the three times voiced command, it is better to stop the lesson.

The repeated repetition of the requirement leads to the fact that the pet begins to like it when he is persuaded. Let the bearded "teenager" defeat you with his stubbornness once or twice and you will very quickly fall in his eyes to the level of service personnel. This does not mean that classes should be abandoned altogether, but it is still better to take into account the gambling nature of the breed and build the educational process so that the airedale is really carried away by it.

#6 Sometimes the dog may refuse to work under the guidance of the owner, simply because he is too late and he wants physical relaxation.

In this case, it is better to take a good walk with her. But this should not be monotonous dragging on a leash: in order to run over and poke his nose into every suspicious hole, the Airedale needs full freedom, without any restraints restraining emotional impulses. When dealing with the Airedale, it is also important to understand that the intelligence of this breed is all right, and chewing each exercise 10 times with its representatives is a waste of time and effort. Firstly, such a technique runs the risk of annoying the pet. Secondly, endless repetition will not give anything, except for marking time and an unnecessary load on the dog's brain.
