#16 As already mentioned, the setter has a long, silky, shiny coat that certainly requires constant grooming.

Be sure to brush your dog regularly with a specialized cleaning brush. After the setter is combed out, wipe the top of the fur with a damp cloth to get rid of accumulated dust.

#17 In order to maintain a good structure of the coat, it is slightly trimmed in particularly elongated areas. A complete haircut threatens to spoil the coat.

#18 There is no need to worry about the dog’s molting, the wool does not fall out in shreds and does not settle on furniture and textiles, and molting occurs mainly once a year.
