Breed Review: Pharaoh Hound (17 Pics)

#4 The Pharaoh Hound is a smooth-haired breed with a close-fitting coat.

Pharaoh's coat shines in the sun and shimmers in the sun. The color of all pharaohs is almost the same and can be of any shade of red.

The color of the coat and nose ranges from light tan to dark chestnut. But there are also features that simply must be present in a dog in color. The tip of the tail, toes, and the collar on the chest should remain white.

Coloration with white markings on the forehead and bridge of the nose is very common. Otherwise, the color is reddish-brown and no other features are specified in the standard.

If any other marks are found, the puppy is not purebred, and given the high price of the Pharaoh's dog, it is better to take proven puppies.

#5 The Pharaoh Hound is distinguished by a kind character and a very cheerful nature, loves to have fun on its own and to entertain others.

#6 Its most important feature is the ability to smile and the ability to blush when embarrassed.

This can be noticed through reddening of the nose, ears, and the area around the eyes - for centuries.
