Bully Kutta or Pakistan Mastiff or simply Bully is a descendant of the obsolete Alaunt breed, which was widespread in Pakistan, more precisely in the Sindh and Punjab regions, where they were mainly used as watchdogs. The name Bully comes from the English word Bull, due to the external resemblance of a dog to a bulldog, and the word Kutta in many South Asian languages means “dog”.
