The West Highland White Terrier is small, lively, active, courageous, has a great sense of self-esteem and pride with a playful appearance. Strongly built, deep chest, ribs pointing back, straight back, muscular legs with powerful hips are a wonderful combination of strength and agility. The guard coat consists of rough hair, about 2 inches long, without any appearance of kinkiness. The undercoat is quite soft, short, soft, and dense. A beautiful confirmation is achieved through an interesting combination of long coat, short back, and neck, smoothly merging into sloping shoulders.
