The Bichon Frise is a small, compact, but at the same time strong-looking dog, with an average bone base, which makes it neither coarse nor too thin. The Bichon Frise is a small dog, weighing 3-5 kg and 20-30 cm high at the withers, with occasional larger individuals. The skull is slightly rounded, the muzzle is not elongated. The tail is left long and curled and is usually held over the back by the dog. The dog has a black nose and black round eyes, the white fur coat consists of curly, thick wool, which is slightly shaved (in this it looks like a poodle), however, many dogs may not have the same curly hair as others.
The breed has a cheerful, playful character. They are gentle, kind, loving and with their shining eyes have curious expressions on their faces.
