In the eighth century in Belgium, this breed was bred as a hunting breed. In France, this breed was perfected as a hunting dog of the royal court. In 1066 the breed was used by the English king William. Later, after several centuries of careful selection, we got the Bloodhound in its current form. His ability as a bloodhound is simply amazing – he is able to find a trail by smell even after 14 days. Tracking for 220 km of track is record-breaking. The objects found by him are used in court as evidence.
