Springer Spaniels were bred to be quite close hunting companions who love to be with people and work. They are energetic and lively dogs; They have a fair amount of intelligence and are fairly easy to learn. Most spaniels have a searching tendency and the English Springer Spaniel is no exception. This urge can cause the dog to chew on things if left alone for an extended period of time. English Springer Spaniels need to be socialized and mated with other dogs and people as early as possible, even though many of these breeds are easy-going and friendly. There are so, so many reasons why Springer Spaniels are the best breed EVER, it will be difficult to fit them all here, but we’ll give it a try!
