People who are not familiar with the Irish wolfhound breed, seeing such a giant, will certainly be frightened, thinking that this is an evil and aggressive animal. In fact, the Irishman attacks only in response to aggression in his direction. The rest of the time, he is calm, adequate, and friendly.
The wolfhound is devoted to the owner, affectionate with all family members, at any time he is ready to stand up to protect the household and the owner’s property. Although, as a watchman, he has proven himself poorly, his friendliness and lack of aggression prevent him from being an ideal guard.
