A resident of Norway, Mette Kvam, rescued a deer wounded by hunters three years ago, and now it comes to visit her every day. Mette and her family did not allow the hunters to approach their prey and took the deer to their homes. After the deer, which was given the nickname Flippen due to constantly watering eyes, recovered, it was released back into the forest. Since then, the animal regularly comes to the house of its rescuers, who feed it with bread.
“When it comes to the window, it stands and waits for me. It always waits for us to wake up to be given bread. It is a very beautiful deer, it has big horns – the dream of any hunter. Nowadays, no one of the hunters are trying to kill it, because it is our friend. In winter, it comes to us more often. Summer and spring are not always the case – it goes far into the mountains. But we are always glad to see it. It behaves very modestly and is afraid of other people, ”says Quetta Kwam.
The deer has already become a local celebrity.
