The Hungarian Vizsla is a dog with a wonderful character. She will become a fun and loyal companion if you give her time and attention. This sensitive dog is very active. She enjoys learning new things if the training is fun and encouraged. The dog instinctively protects his loved ones.
#1 Created in Hungary to work as a pointer and retriever, the Vizsla dog breed has an aristocratic bearing. All they really want, though, is to be loved.
#2 This breed is often described as the “Velcro Vizsla.” Most dogs are affectionate, but this medium-size hunting dog is especially attached to his people.
#3 His Velcro nature has to do with his past: the Vizsla was developed in Hungary to be both a pointer and retriever who would work close to the hunter, never ranging too far away.
