Dogs love to be the center of attention. When guests come to you, Russell will first watch them wary, and then easily make contact.
They will not always develop relationships with other animals. They perceive small animals as prey. They will compete with the large ones. They will not want to share the owner’s attention with anyone.
They will get along with children. But even in playing with them, they will try to switch the owner’s attention from the baby to themselves.
