Lacking enough springiness and ease of movement, wire-haired cops often become a target for a wounded angry animal. If you really want to test your pet on a big game, train it to hold the prey with your voice, without attacking it. Otherwise, your German Wire-Haired Pointing Dogs' first hunt will be the last.
