Basset Hounds are a rather specific breed of dog. This should be taken into account, I am going to have a puppy of this breed.
#1 If you need a friend, the Basset Hound is the perfect fit. He will eat, drink and sleep with his master.
#2 Even with minimal training, a bassette is ready to lift a bird from its home or drive a fox or badger out of its burrow.
#3 Having passed the full training procedure, the dog is able to sense prey at a distance of several hundred meters and confidently follow the trail.
