The Lagotto Romagnolo, or Romagna lake dog, is an ancient breed of aquatic game carrier dogs, native to the Comacchio lowlands and the Ravenna swamps.
These large swamps were drained, this dog began to be used to search for truffles in the plains and hills of Italy, where it has proven itself very well. The breed was recognized by the FCI in 1996.
#1 If the dog lives in a family, it will single out the owner among the household, but this will not significantly change the behavior.
#2 Lagotto Romagnolo treats all members of the family with tenderness and love, and listens well to each of the family.
#3 They love children, they are able to spend a long time with them, they play with pleasure with kids and teenagers.
