#4 Pugs cannot tolerate high levels of heat and humidity because their snout is so short (in dogs with longer snouts, air cools as it travels through the nose before entering the lungs). When outside with your pug, keep a close eye on signs of overheating. Pugs are house dogs and should not be kept outdoors.
#5 Although they have short fur, pugs shed a lot.
#6 Pugs huff and snore loudly.
