Black Gulper – a Monster From the Depths of the Sea

This strange underwater creature is called the Black Gulper. And it’s not for nothing that he has such a name: this fish, living in the distant depths of the sea, is capable of absorbing food that is ten times its own weight.

This unique fish is only about 25 cm long. She lives far underwater, at a depth of seven hundred meters and up to almost three kilometers. This miracle floats in the subtropical waters of the planet.

But since there are problems with food in distant places, the Black Gulper will not pass the opportunity to devour a creature that he meets on his way, even if it is larger than the hunter himself.

The picture illustrates how this swallow eats its unfortunate victim. And the size of the fish before and after lunch. Five years ago, not far from the Cayman Islands, they found a representative of this species, which was 19 cm long, while an 86-cm mackerel was found in its stomach.
