Do You Think It’s a Pinecone? No, You are Wrong!

You think these are cones, you bring the tree into the house, decorate it, joyfully celebrate the New Year and Christmas, and do not know what is really going on …

But in fact, these are not cones at all, but a mantis nest, in which 100-200 eggs are hidden. In the warmth of the house, eggs begin to hatch and hundreds of little mantises scatter around the house. Unfortunately, there is not enough food for them in our house and the kids will die very soon.

So, when bringing spruce into the house, inspect it for the presence of such nests. If you find false cones, just take them out into the street, into the nearest bushes. There, in the spring, mantises calmly hatch and continue living in the wild.
