Beautiful, shaggy, very showy bobtails leave no one indifferent. At any dog show, people immediately gather near them – to gawk at the unusual “sheep”. Bobtails accept tokens with pleasure. They are generally very companionable and friendly dogs, real companion dogs.
#1 Just a couple of centuries ago, the bobtail had a much more severe temper. So demanded his status as a universal farm dog, with which one could be calm for the safety of both the sheep herd and all the other property of the farmer.
