Humanity That People Lack

A misfortune happened in Botswana – an elephant died. The elephant who found her dead comrade showed exceptional humanity (you can’t call it otherwise) – she drove away all the predators that were spinning near the dead relative and hugged him by the trunk of the tusk.

For a couple of hours, the elephant stood by the body, grieving over the loss of a creature close to her. Such humanity is something that people often lack. We can learn a lot from animals.
