The homeland of the corgi is Great Britain. It is not known to which city or village the honor of being the ancestor of the Welsh Corgi belongs. The only certainty is that this breed originated in Wales.
One of the legends says that the corgi was found by farm children who went into the forest and got lost. They were very scared. And the good wood elves gave them a little unusual puppy, which brought them back to the farm. According to legend, this was the very first Welsh Corgi.
