This Creature Lays Eggs

This is a leatherback turtle. It can reach a weight of half a ton and two meters in length. This species is endangered and lives throughout the hot strip, where there are seas and oceans. These are Bermuda, Madagascar, the Solomon Islands, and many other beautiful places. These giants eat fish, crayfish, and soft-bodied aquatic life. Leatherback turtles, like other representatives of their species, lay eggs. Moreover, their ability to reproduce is incredible.

These turtles are very strong – when one of their representatives was hunted down by a company of six fishermen, the turtle almost dragged them into the sea – if not for the help that arrived in time, they would never have been able to cope with it. They say that once, in the middle of the eighteenth century, such an animal was caught and its head was broken with a piece of iron. So it uttered the scream that they heard a quarter of a mile away, a desperate scream full of horror. Here’s a sad story.
