The Nebelung is a respectable American with the manners of a real gentleman! This handsome man behaves with royal dignity and demands sincere respect for his feline persona.
The first thing that catches your eye when meeting an animal is its spectacular appearance. A silky blue-grey fur coat, a gaze of emerald or topaz eyes, perfectly coordinated proportions - it's hard to miss such a pet!
At the same time, representatives of the breed do not impose their company and rarely disturb others with loud meows. As befits aristocrats, these animals are restrained and well-mannered, do not like company, and hardly put up with the company of annoying guests.
This is due to an accident: in 1980, the son of the programmer Cora Cobb received a black shorthair cat as a gift. Over time, the new favorite of the family, named Elsa, got along with a Russian blue cat. The result of this union was the birth of five babies in 1984. Among them, only one was distinguished by an atypically long blue coat. This baby became the favorite of Cora Cobb, who decided to name her pet Siegfried (Sigurd) - in honor of the hero of the medieval Germanic epic "Song of the Nibelungs".
