#4 Small dogs with big brains
That sounds paradoxical at first: The smallest dog breed in the world has the largest dog brain. In fact, the Chihuahua has a larger brain for its body weight than its fellow dog breeds. So it's not surprising that the little guy is considered very intelligent, attentive, and curious.
#5 Chihuahuas can be headstrong
The Chihuahua sometimes seems to want to prove that while it's not big, it's strong. Then he shows himself quite self-confident towards big dogs and barks at them exaggeratedly. Also, Chihuahuas can be little stubborn and have a mind of their own. With loving, consistent upbringing, however, obstinacy can be channeled constructively.
#6 A Chihuahua needs attention.
Chihuahuas often form deep human-canine bonds with their favorite humans. They love to play, train and just be together with their owners. If he doesn't get enough attention, the Chihuahua may be a bit jealous and clamor for more admiration.
